Emery Village BIA is one of North America’s largest Business Improvement Areas AND is one of Toronto’s largest ‘Employment Zones’ with a membership that consists of some 2700 commercial, industrial and retail establishments.

The introduction of LRTs are one option to further develop public transit in Toronto, specifically Finch Avenue West.  We need to have proper public consultation and transportation feasibility studies shared with us before a rapid transit plan is approved.

Please send a message to Premier McGuinty and your local M.P.P. telling them that the lack of clarity over the future plans for Finch Avenue West, and the lack of meaningful consultation with residents and local businesses, whom see Finch Avenue West as their transportation lifeblood, is unacceptable.
