Second Annual Wine Festival and Street Party
This past weekend, Mother Nature put the Emery Village BIA to the test when it rained all morning on Saturday, September 13, 2014. Nevertheless, the vendors arrived, the bands went on and the wine and beer was drunk. It was a wonderful wine festival, full of smiling kids and smiling adults (mainly around the wine and beer tents). With the weather being so uncooperative, it was an amazing sight to see so many community members come out to join the street party and enjoy all the different attractions. We know the rides were a huge hit for the kids and we hope everyone enjoyed the different wines and beers. With the final goodbye to summer, this festival was a great representation of the Emery Village BIA community, rain and shine, we will always make the best of it!
Annual Wine Festival and Street Party
On Saturday, September 14th, the Emery Village BIA hosted their first annual Wine Festival and street party the area had ever seen. With 1000’s of residents and their family and friends the Emery Village BIA blocked off Plunkett and Satterly Roads. The festival featured various food venders from Emery Village and different activities such as live music and wine stomping! There was truly something for everyone at this event and we look forward to having the Wine Festival year after year.
