Breakfast with the Bunny

2007
On March 31, 2007 the Emery Village BIA hosted and sponsored the first annual “Breakfast with the Bunny” event to raise funds in support of the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization committed to providing children from economically disadvantaged homes with the opportunity to experience the joy of attending summer camp. Co-sponsors for this event included Tim Hortons, Enbridge and Golden Griddle. The event featured arts and crafts, a magic show, pictures with the bunny and tons of fun for children in the local community.

The Emery Village BIA is passionate about maintaining a strong presence in the local community.  One of the ways in which we achieve this is by sponsoring community events, like our Annual Breakfast with the Bunny event, which helps to raise funds for the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization committed to providing children from economically disadvantaged homes in our community with the opportunity to experience the joy of attending summer camp.  On March 22, 2008, the Emery Village BIA, alongside our sponsors Tim Hortons, Fiera Foods, Enbridge, Saputo, West Finch Bakery and Golden Griddle hosted the 2nd Annual Breakfast with the Bunny event. It was a fun- filled day for children in our community, featuring breakfast, arts and crafts, face painting, a magic show, a singalong and pictures with the bunny.

2009
The Emery Village BIA would like to thank all who participated in the 3rd Annual Breakfast with the Bunny Event on April 11, 2009, in support of the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. The Tim Horton Children’s Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization committed to providing children from economically disadvantaged homes with the opportunity to experience the joy of attending summer camp. The Foundation is close to our heart and home. All the proceeds from this year’s event will ensure that children from underprivileged homes in our local community have the opportunity to participate in a life changing camp experience.

The event, which took place at the Carmine Stefano Community Centre, featured arts and crafts, a magic show, pictures with the bunny and tons of fun for children in the local community.

The Emery Village BIA would like to express a special thanks to our event sponsors, Tim Hortons, Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, Lindvest Properties Ltd., Agropur Divison Natrel, Fiera Foods Company, and Saputo Inc.
